A 12-day lockdown has been given in Mangrol of Surat.
A 12-day lockdown has been declared at the Mangrol taluka headquarters in Surat from tomorrow. The gram panchayat has taken this decision in view of the increasing number of cases of corona. During this time, the Mangrol markets will be open from 7 am to 11 am, but only essential services such as medical and milk shops will be open. Muslim leaders have also decided to close the main Jumma Masjid in the taluka headquarters
Let me tell you, so far 495 positive cases have been registered in Mangrol taluka. While 18 people have died in the taluka.
It is worth mentioning that due to the lockdown, people’s jobs and businesses across the country have collapsed and people are in financial trouble. The people here may also face difficulties as a 12-day lockdown is also being given in Mangrol. But the gram panchayat has taken this decision to prevent the transmission of corona so that the people of Mangrol stay healthy.
