GTU has announced the exams for final year students from June 9, but how will the students from other provinces and abroad come to give exams? This issue was raised in ‘Sandesh’ on 30-9
The education department has clarified in a circular issued today that due to the lockdown, many students are moving to other districts and states and abroad to their hometowns. Inconvenience if they are called back only for examination.
Exams for students from other states can also be held online. In addition, some universities like GTU, Gujarat University, etc. have students from all over the state and they study in hostels.
If the students of Intermediate Semester-2-6-7 are to be given merit based progress, the examination fee will have to be paid as the examination fee of the next semester. If some students live in the containment zone or show signs of covid on the day of the examination or are infected with corona or cannot come to the examination center due to other reasons, special examination will have to be held in August or September only for such students.
