How much grain will ration card holders get in July 2022? : Are you a ration card holder? Don’t know how much grain you deserve this month? Ration card holders in Gujarat are provided foodgrains by the Food and Supplies Department mainly under regular distribution and Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.

Prime Minister’s Poor Welfare Food Scheme – PMGKAY

The scheme was launched by the Prime Minister in April 2020 to provide free foodgrains to the people during the Koro period. Under this scheme, 200 million people have got the benefit of free foodgrains. Thus, the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana was supposed to be completed in one year, but this scheme has been extended till September 2020.

All the 6 districts of the state and all the beneficiaries covered under NFSA in Ahmedabad city will be given 1 kg per person. Wheat and 3 kg. A total of 4 kg of rice was found. Free distribution of foodgrains will be started on 16.07.2022.

  • Under the public distribution system, regular distribution for the month of July will be started from 01.07.2022.
  • The details of wheat, rice, pulses, sugar and kerosene available to all the beneficiaries covered under NFSA are as per above.
  • Ration card holders covered under NFSA in 20 developing talukas of the state will be given 1 kg per family from July 207. Chickpeas will be available at a discounted price of Rs. 50 / – which will be distributed on 16/07/2003.

Ration card can be obtained from any village or city of Gujarat, but due to business-employment, the beneficiary residing in another village or city will be able to get food supply by identifying himself using any fingerprint / finger from any fair price shop in any village or city across the state.
