The board’s move is being hailed as an important step in moving the country’s transport sector in the direction of natural gas.





The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Act only allows authorized companies to use LNG. Does not provide permission to start stations. PNGRB has said that. It is not mandatory for the entity to be authorized for the respective field. However, the entity must meet other provisions of the Act. With this decision of the board, LNG in the country The confusion about setting up stations has gone away. This allows private companies to use LNG. There will be ease in setting up stations.
