Education Qualification :
- Subject useful to the corporation which is ME (Civil) with Structural Transportation, Bridges and at least seven years of employment or working experience after passing it. While employees working in Surat Municipal Corporation need to have five years experience of Junior Engineer or its equivalent. OR
- Must have BE (Civil) and at least 10 years of work / work experience after passing it, out of which Government of India must have 04 years experience in the position of Deputy Engineer or its equivalent in any Municipal Corporation, while working in Surat Municipal Corporation. Employees should have 07 years experience in Junior Engineer or its equivalent. OR
- Must have at least 15 years of job / operation experience after passing DCE and must have 04 years experience in Government of India Deputy Engineer or its equivalent. While for employees working in Surat Municipal Corporation, it is necessary to have one year experience in Junior Engineer or its equivalent.
Age Limit :
- Not More Than 45 years.
- SMC Employees 55 years.
